MacroLens is a macro trading terminal operated under the name MacroLens, based in France. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website and application at macrolens.ink.

This Privacy Policy only applies to data processing activities carried out by MacroLens. It does not apply to third-party websites or services, even if MacroLens links to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party service you use.

5. Data storage & security

Your data is stored on a PostgreSQL database hosted on Hetzner servers located in the European Union. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to the database is restricted to the application only.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include network monitoring, access controls, and encrypted communications. However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot fully warrant against unauthorized access by third parties.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records for accounting purposes).

Technical logs (IP addresses, access timestamps) are retained for a maximum of 90 days for security and debugging purposes, then deleted.

7. Minors

MacroLens is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. You should not create an account or use the service if you are under 18 years old. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete that data immediately.
